Step 1: Unpin the apps.

Step 3: Remove the Task View icon.

For this, you need to right-click on the Taskbar. This opens the options, disable the Task View from here. Click on the Show Task View button, and it will remove the checkmark from it.

Open the Taskbar options by right-clicking on Taskbar. Uncheck the Show Cortana button.

Step 5: Remove the Search bar if you want to make it look more like the Windows 7 Start Menu.

Open the Taskbar options by right-clicking on Taskbar. Go to Search and select one from- Show Search Icon to just show the icon on the Taskbar and Hidden will hide it completely. To open Search from the taskbar, you can use Windows + S.

This is a compilation of featured Windows 7/Vista Start buttons. To download a button, right click the image -> Save image as/Save picture as. Then open Start Menu Settings and go to the 'Start Menu Style' tab, and pick that image.
